One of the best advice for a start up or small business is to join groups:
Networking groups, accelerators, apply for cohorts.
These help build community and you find people who truly want to help each other.
One of these groups was Hello Alice, which I joined a few years back. In the community chat, a fellow entrepreneur posted a year free of Perplexity AI Pro. I jumped at the chance because I have been trying so hard to create content for Inklings without hours in Canva. But I never upgraded to anything paid because I didn't feel confident in what I was doing. Also every time I tried to create content with our characters, whether our book art or our actual product photography the output was INSANE. The characters were morphed into something even crazier if you can imagine. So I just left it alone. Felt defeated.
But then I opened Perplexity AI Pro....
First Pass, WOW.
Perplexity took our product photos and actually did it. I had to remove Gus because it gave him elephant ears, but otherwise this is what I was trying to do for almost 2 years... No, its not perfect. Yes Jaffy is rainbow striped but I finally got close.
2nd Pass

And this is what I got:
Still a few issues, like what is happening to Gus' mouth (Ai doesnt like Gus), but I could NEVER have done that on my own. Even with all the hours.
All I needed was a branded, fun, quick New Year's Post to start the year for socials and an email blast. Saved me so much time, struggle and left me no excuse to push off the dreaded data work...
