It has been a rough weekend. We are all deeply affected by the ICE shootings in Minneapolis. One of the most relatable conversations we have with other parents is, "How do we keep it together while raising kids?"
There isn't a right or wrong way. Just the way we can get through.
I have found that reading articles on parenting young kids in these unprecedented times, making crafts with the kids, and going outside as much as possible (when there isn't a freezing cold blizzard dumping feet over NJ) helps me focus.
That and putting my money where my mouth is.
Shopping small. Shopping local where possible.
